2018 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid: Specs, Release Date

Perhaps we weren’t hoping for the new Pathfinder to arrive as the 2018 model year, but it seems that the rumors are true. The new Nissan will bring several upgrades and one big option. Precisely, it is expected to arrive with a hybrid engine under its hood this time.  As the matter of fact, once, the Pathfinder was available with a hybrid, but after that it was discontinued. The upcoming 2018 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid should arrive with the same upgrades with the standard version which this time will be minor. Those will include more standard safety equipment in all trim levels and larger wheels in higher rims.

Generally, the Nissan Pathfinder is a good-looking vehicle which offers cozy cabin and comfortable seating. The fuel economy will be very good, especially with the new hybrid unit under its hood. As well, the new Pathfinder will arrive with standard front-wheel drive while the all-wheel drive will be optional.

Its main rivals will be Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Santa Fe and Volkswagen Atlas.

When it comes to exterior design, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid won’t differ much from the current model. The 2017 model year has received slightly revised front and rear bumpers and a new design of the grille. It has gotten bolder and more muscular appearance and for some larger changes we will have to wait a few years more.
