The next generation of the BMW popular crossover SUV has finally been spotted during its testing. It is the newest X5 model which will bring several improvements. However, besides the standard version which is available with a traditional engine, we can once again expect hybrid model too. So, this time, we will talk about the new 2019 BMW X5 Hybrid.
The X5 is a modern and luxury crossover SUV which is a great choice for families because of a wide range of engines, roomy cabin, and excellent safety ratings. However, the third row is a bit limited but it is suitable for children. The hybrid version is a bit pricey and compared to its main rivals, it provides an all-electric range of only 14 miles. But despite that, it is more fuel efficient than the rest of the versions in the lineup. The 2019 model year will bring many changes including a new platform, more aggressive exterior styling, and so on.
Its main rivals on the market will be Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, Cadillac Escalade, Lexus GX, and Land Rover Range Rover Velar.

We have also noticed some changes considering its dimensions. Precisely, it will now ride on the new CLAR platform which will make it a bit larger than before. This also means more space inside the cabin. Furthermore, because of the usage of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber and aluminum, the newest X5 will be lighter than before as well.
Speaking of the interior, the 2019 BMW X5 Hybrid will now feature slightly roomier cabin which will provide more comfort for all the passengers. The third row will be optional and it will be more convenient for the children.
