Under the hood of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will be placed a plug-in hybrid engine. It is a 3.6-liter V-6 combined with dual electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack of 16 kWh. This unit has the output of 260 horses. It works with a continuously variable transmission. Furthermore, this battery can provide an all-electric range of 33 miles. As for the fuel efficiency, it gets 32 mpg combined and 84 MPGe.
Design of exterior and interior
The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will get the same styling of the current model which is very eye-catching and attractive. The Pacifica has inherited some styling tweaks from the Chrysler 200 sedan. The whole body is sleek and modern with nicely-designed grille and headlamps. The side of the vehicle features elegant and smooth lines and with the optional larger 20-inch wheels it looks more prominent and dramatic.
The interior of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid can welcome up to seven passengers in three rows of seats. The third row is suitable even for adults also, not just children. Behind the third row, there is a cargo space of 32.2 cubic feet. And for more cargo, you can fold down the third row and you get the room of 98.5 cubic feet. Moreover, all the trims are equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Among other standard equipment, there is a three-zone climate control, steering-wheel audio controls, blind-spot monitors, a rearview camera, power-adjustable front seats etc. The Touring Plus will add leather and heated seats. Furthermore, the Limited will include navigation, HD radio, real-time traffic, powered sliding side doors, and tailgate.
Release date and price
The price of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid should start at around $40,000. However, the release date is not yet announced.
